Jr Systems Administrator

HouseCall is a leading provider of partnered information technology products and services for the U.S. Congress. We provide an executive level, white-glove support, handling all IT needs from desktop support and network/systems administration and constituent software.

We are currently seeking highly-qualified applicants to perform Sr. Desktop Support Technician work on Capitol Hill.

Applicants will need to multi-task assignments and prioritize tasks according to client needs and schedules.  Additionally, qualified candidates should be self-starters, highly motivated, and eager to contribute to the well-being of the organization while operating in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified applicants must be skilled in:

  • Demonstrating excellent communication skills
  • Strong business/systems analysis experience working closely with users to resolve problems and capture new business requirements.
  • Three (3) years minimum experience supporting end-users with Microsoft Office and Exchange Online
  • Be self-motivated to work supervised and unsupervised as needed.
  • Advanced level of knowledge working with various Windows, Mac, iOS, Android operating systems software.
  • Active Directory & Microsoft Exchange user and account management.
  • Experience supporting end-user with remote connectivity software.
  • Experience with Servers, Network Attached Storage, MFP’s and Networking Required.

Strongly Prefered 

  • Unix and NetApp Experience

This position is NOT entirely a desk job. Employees will be expected to interact with clients on a daily basis in various capacities. Professionalism and courteousness are required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
